Our latest milestone? A €5 million solar energy project with ALDI Ireland that brings clean power to 44 stores nationwide over the next two years.
This landmark rollout underscores our ability to deliver solar energy solutions at scale, showcasing both the maturity of our operations and the increasing demand for reliable, sustainable energy across Ireland’s retail commercial sector.
A Major Step Forward in Nationwide Solar Delivery
As part of this agreement, Greenvolt Next Ireland will design, engineer, and install rooftop solar systems at 44 ALDI locations. The phased rollout kicks off in 2025, with 22 stores receiving installations in the first year and the remainder in 2026.
Each system is expected to generate an average of 95,500 kWh of electricity annually, covering up to 30% of each store’s energy needs. This helps reduce carbon emissions, protect against energy price volatility, and ease pressure on Ireland’s national grid.
